In the Municipality of Amyntaio you can visit the 4 beautiful natural lakes, Chimaditida, Zazari, Petron and Vegoritida. All of them belong to the Natura 2000 protected habitats We suggest to enjoy your coffee, lunch or dinner in the cafes and restaurants located on their shores.
Brown bear & wolf shelters
In Nymfaio you can visit the Brown Bear Shelter, while in Agrapidies you will find the Wolf Shelter. For more insights about the wild life of our region, you can visit the two information centers of Arcturos.
Florina
How about a short day tiro to the nearby cinematic Florina? It is worth visiting the Archaeological Museum of the city, the Art Gallery of Florina, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Folklore Museum. A coffee break at the Cafés by the Sakulevas River is definitely a must.
